I replaced the rack n pionion on my 07 tundra in the process

Customer Question

I replaced the rack n pionion on my 07 tundra in the process of centering the rack I spun the steering wheel to far to the right now the air bag light is on and I have no hands free controls. Clock spring may have sprung free? Does it control the power to my hands free controls?

It sounds like the clockspring broke. It doesn't take much and the wires inside there will stretch loose and break.

Do you plan to replace it yourself? They aren't too terrible to swap out on the tundra.
