The car does nothing no turn over no lights jumping does not

the car does nothing no turn over no lights jumping does not work and the battery seems good with a 12.97 charge. its a 2007 rav 4
JA: Just to clarify, what are the exact lights you're talking about?
Customer: all of them. but i tried to turn the head lights on
JA: What is the model of your '12 Toyota?
Customer: 2007 rav4 sport
JA: Are you fixing your RAV4 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: checking the battery. and jump start. i was driving it around town. came home to grab something i forgot went back out to the car and nothing now when i turned it off it did let me take the key out while it was in drive which it normally does not do. i out it in park after the key was out
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

So when you turn the key to on the dashlights don't turn on and the headlights don't work either, seems completely dead?

The entire car is completely dead. The lights, radio, everything is dead. But the battery was OK, it had 12.9 volts.

Make sure the cable terminals are tight.
