Customer Question

Just purchase used 2007 Sienna le. Looks like no power to either rear sliding door. No noise, clicks, movement using any of the controls. Using in manual ode. Took left door panel off and everything looks great, in place etc. Door switch by drivers knee is powered, orange showing. Trying to trace power to the dorr ECU. Both rear doors same issue so don't believe it is a door ECU etc.
JA: Is the power loss consistent, or does it fluctuate?
Customer: No power to the rear sliding doors is evident. Rea Door power window works well.
JA: Are you fixing your Sienna yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes, only taken the left door panel off and made sure everything looked good mechanically. Tried to read voltage to the door lock acuator but didn't read anything when pressing the door buttons etc. Dealer wants $250 to do diagnostic.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no

Thank you for trusting us with your questions. Are you using a digital voltmeter and backprobing the connectors so the terminals do not get damaged? Have you checked any fuses under the hood?
