Customer Question

My 99 Toyota Solara 3.0 has dtc's of P0125. R&R thermostat & cts, & coolant, code comes back. Which 02 sensor sends ecu into closed loop?
JA: Which particular sensor are you asking about? And have any trouble codes been triggered?
Customer: Only code is P0125. Scan tool shows coolant not warm enough. Coolant temp on scan tool is 185 to 186 degrees. Shows open loop.
JA: Are you fixing your Solara yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes I'm fixing veh. Replaced the thermostat , coolant temp sensor, coolant, & radiator cap. I'm a master auto tech, looking to find O2 sensor to put ECU into closed loop. Is air/fuel sensor responsible for closed loop function? Is that on bank1 sensor1 ?
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No but thank you for your help.
