Welcome, I'm Chris (aka Moose), my normal schedule online is around lunch and after dinner till early morning.

Is this a OEM factory installed keyless entry system or is there an aftermarket alarm, remote start, or immobilizer installed?

Customer: replied 11 days ago.
It's oem keyless entry and I do believe it has an aftermarket alarm because I see the red bulb on the side panel. I recently bought this vehicle so I'm guessing this would be an aftermarket alarm.

Thanks,

My recommendation first off is to follow the wires from that red light to its module. Remove that module and fix all wire splices to get that system off the car. Then see if the concern is still occurring and report back on the results.
