Check engine light has been coming on for past month. Would stay on for a day then go off for a week then come back on for couple days then off again. Came back on couple days ago but today light started flashing. I got a code reader and can up with all the codes P0300, P0302, 304,305,306. The engine runs somewhat ok with ok power. I don't think all the coils are bad because it runs ok.

Well Ron?
Expert:  Ron replied 12 days ago.

If you clear the codes which one reset?

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
I clear all the codes and they stay off for a couple days then come back on. The codes are P0300, 301,302,303,304,305,306,308. I know not all the coils could be bad because the car still runs ok.

So the engine is not misfiring at all?

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
The engine has a very slight miss at idle. But when running down the road you can't feel or hear anything. Even if you gas it you don't have any stumble

I am suspecting you may have a computer programming issue here but I can not be sure. Ill open the post back up for you and perhaps someone else has something sure to add.

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
Would that mean change the computer or reflash it
Expert:  david craig replied 9 days ago.

Hi Im David, that definitely sounds like a computer issue. I would suggest to have it re flashed first. If you take it to a toyota dealer they will comfirm re flash or replacement.
