My 1990 Toyota 4x4 will crank and not start. I have checked

Customer Question

My 1990 Toyota 4x4 will crank and not start. I have checked spark/voltage on the battery and have now determined that I am not getting fuel. It will try to start on starting fluid. I have loosened the fuel line to the injection system and I am getting fuel but not sure about the pressure. I think I'm overlooking something simple. The truck would start by pulling but not by cranking??
JA: Does the battery look like it's leaking? And does it have a strong smell -- like sulfur?
Customer: No, I checked the battery last night and it checked fine
JA: What is the model of your '90 Toyota?
Customer: Extended cab truck 4x4 with a 22re engine
JA: Are you fixing your Cab yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Cab?
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No
