2001 Echo w/AT. While in drive and coasting the idle seems

2001 Echo w/AT. While in drive and coasting the idle seems to drift up higher causing a slight acceleration or non-deceleration. At stop and AT in drive, the idle is higher than 1k rpm.
JA: How old is the transmission? Have you checked the fuel filters?
Customer: 15 years. have not checked the fuel filters yet.
JA: What is the make/model of your car?
Customer: '01 Toy Echo w/AT
JA: Are you fixing your Echo yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Have not started fixing the Echo yet. This happened an hours or so ago.
