Customer: 33k, happened once this summer. Turned it off for 1/2 hr, seemed to fix. not this time
JA: Are you fixing your Avalon yourself? What have you tried so far?

Hello and welcome

If there is no air at all blowing through the vents either using the heater or a/c then it's most likely the fan motor that should be replaced, it's fairly easy to remove, it's located below the glove box in the air duct housing and can be removed by taking off the electrical connector and three small screws, it just comes out through the bottom.

Hmm. When everything is turned off, it does circulate some air, tho not sufficient for climate control. Fan would be working then?
Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I will chk the fan. Most likely that is it. thank you

You're welcome , other than that it could be a problem with the climate control system which is computerized and may need further diagnosing using a dealer's diagnostic procedures.
