Do you mean black smoke when car is breaking up at 5000rpm ? Not sure was driving at night. No black smoke at idle. Idle also just seamed to drop about 50 percent ?

Once car warms up idle drops off until car stalls

What's the problem with this site
Expert:  Peter Bagley replied 1 month ago.

I apologies for not returning faster, and this sight is not the problem you are dealing with real people and I had personal family issue to attend so again I apologies. So lets get back to solving your problem. Did you code read again after this happened? does it crank any faster or about the same when trying to start now?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
No problem I understand. Seems to crank about the same
Expert:  Peter Bagley replied 1 month ago.

ok but is there any codes now after you replaced those items ? Is there any oil leaks around the crank pulley

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
No leaks and tomorrow I will have car checked for codes
Expert:  Peter Bagley replied 1 month ago.

Great let me know if any codes and what they are then we can go from there

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
I will get codes today What are your thoughts of a bad crank shaft locator sensor. It's keeps coming up in my research. Thanks
Expert:  Peter Bagley replied 1 month ago.

yes that's a possibility but lets do this in a logical procedure first by reviewing any codes first.

Expert:  Peter Bagley replied 1 month ago.

do to a no response I opt out

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
I fixed the problem days ago crank locator sensor. Sorry I didn't get. back to you sooner family problems and I couldn't
Customer: replied 28 days ago.
I would never recommend this site I expected a reply in 24 hours or so I know family problem on your end then mine. Site wS no help I figured it out waiting for replys.
Customer: replied 24 days ago.
I figured out problem on my own waiting for a reply of any kind I know you had family problems so did I Not worth my time or money the way it all worked out
Expert:  Peter Bagley replied 23 days ago.

As per last conversation I also had agreed it could be a crank sensor but also said to proceed in a logical way as not to through parts at it and was waiting for you to get back with any codes you might find . As it was I waited as well and thought you didn't need further help How was I to tell you had other issues to attend we are not mind readers all you needed to do was say your back as I did and we could have carried on.Glad you fixed the problem but in the future don't blame a sight for lack of communication.
