The service hybrid message usually indicates a problem with the hybrid battery, but it could also just be an electrical hic-up. By chance do you have access to a scan tool so you can check what error codes are triggering in the computer?
If you have a warranty I would suggest taking it back to them. At least to check the codes. If the hybrid battery is dying you don't want to find that out after the warranty is out. They can be about $5000 or more to replace.
Sometimes the message comes on for other reasons, but most of the time it's because the battery is acting up.
