Customer Question

The battery is draining. The switch is off for the ac but the condensation line is wet and dripping water. Is the relay switch bad?
JA: What part of the car is the leak coming from? And are you sure it's water?
Customer: The line for the ac is wet, not leaking. Yes, its water is checked it with my hand and smelt
JA: What is the model/year of your Toyota?
Customer: smelled it to see it it was oil or some other fluid
JA: What year is your Toyota?
Customer: toyota tacoma 2013
JA: Are you fixing your Tacoma yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: nothing so far, it just happened. Was thinking it was the starter but it doesn't make sense that the starter goes with 40,000 miles.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no just a weird symptom that just started to happen went the problem started.

Hello and welcome to just answer and allowing me to assist you. I may need to ask questions to better assess the problem so I can help you better..You stated the A/C lines stay wet with A/C switch off? look to see if the A/C clutch is still engaged turning the compressor. If it is still turning with Switch off pull the A/C relay located in the fuse block under the hood.Let me know what is happening up to this point.
