it won won't shift think its a linkage problem where is the drive linkage?
JA: How old is the transmission? Have you noticed any leaking?
Customer: no but the dash is showing it in neutral...won't shift
JA: What is the model/year of your Toyota?

Thank you for allowing me to help you with this concern today and am sorry to hear that this is happening. I will have to ask you a few questions so that I can get a better understanding as to what may be going on with your Sienna.

The cable end that slips off is located on the left side of the shifter just below where you put your hand. The easiest solution is to add a C clip to the shaft or else replace the cable itself. Here is a quick video of someone who shows this being replaced....
