The engine light is on, the traction control and VSC and 4x4 lights are blinking
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
My truck would not shift into 5th or 6th gear while driving with the lights blinking. After researching on the internet, I think it is P033D code. Comparing my issue with another one online sounds like a match, but I will send you the code tomorrow.
Expert:  Greg replied 3 months ago.

Okay good .

Please get me the actual code as many issue that are very simula to yours can be different causes .

When you have a knock sensor issue this can cause you no top gear .

and is normal for the VSC and $WD light to come on ,when you have a engine malfunction it will go into safe mode and deactivate the use of the VSC and 4WD. this is normal does not mean you have a problem with these system .

Even a O2 sensor malfunction will cause the VSC light to come on.

So lets wait for the actual code that has been stored in your ECM.

Sorry for late response. Pep boys say it is the P0332, P0328, and the C1201 Brake booster. Should I just take it to dealer?
Expert:  Greg replied 3 months ago.

Okay thank you .

These codes will trip the other warning lights .

The knock sensors 1 and 2 have an open circuit or the sensor itself is bad and needs replacing .

This can be repaired by any toyota repair shop or dealer .
