Customer Question

my 2004 Rav4 steering worked fine last night, today after start-up the steering wheel was jerky, and a puddle of power steering fluid was under the engine. Is this the rack and pinion, one of the cross feed lines, the steering shaft seal, vacuum pressure valve, or the PS pump. what can I fix?

the rack & pinon is a common problem on those vehicles at high mileage

0- what is the mileage

1- is coming from the steering rack itself ?

2- is it coming from the lines attached to it

3- is it the high pressure line leaking

4- does the fluid comes out with pressure or it kind of drips down slowly

Please let me know

Thank You
