2006 highlander passenger side floor wet after rain, no sun roof, has roof rack, not the AC
JA: Have you checked the Freon level?
Customer: has nothing to do with the AC
JA: Are you fixing your Highlander yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: checked the AC evaporator drain & winsheild cowl
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Are you sure there are no leaves or debris in the drain openings under the cowling?

Have you tried running some water in through vents to see if the water drains out the bottom?

I could also enter though the windshield seal, try running water around the windshield with a hose.

Found it, never guess, body man left nut off top bolt of RR taillight,
Pulled RR quarterpanel body plug, half gallon of water & nut for tailight,
Noticed condensation in taillight, drying carpet now
