2012 toyota sienna. The ecu 10 amp fuse (38) keeps

Customer Question

2012 toyota sienna. The ecu 10 amp fuse (38) keeps blowing... I've changed 3 of them in a week. Never had an issue till now.
JA: Most vehicles have two fuse panels. Have you located both?
Customer: Yes
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I've replaced the fuse. 3 times. The problem is that the airbag light and t/c light comes on. The power sliding doors stop working. The car stops responding to the key fob. As soon as I change the fuse, it all works properly
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: Nope. That's it.

Please understand that I can't smell, hear, or touch the vehicle, so patience is appreciated. Before leaving the site make sure and leave me a rating. You can still reply to me as many times as needed, even after the rating..

Sounds like a intermittent short to ground in that circuit. It would require a short tester to install in place of the fuse and then begin tracing the circuit doing whats called a wiggle test to locate the short. That's the easiest way.
