Hello and welcome to just answer and allowing me to assist you. well in this situation usually the tumblers inside the key cylinder are either jammed or damaged. So the only thing you can try is to flush it out with penetrating fluid and also blowing some compress air in it when you do though wear protective eye covering and something under the steering area to catch the oil you spray into the key hole. you can get a can of compressed air in any computer store to try. If all fails your into just replacing the key cylinder not the whole ignition. Hope this helps your problem and if you need further assistance I'll be happy to do so.
