Hello. Welcome to Just Answer. Please allow me to assist you. I assume you have a P0308 code. If so, the very first thing to do is swap #8 cylinder coil unit with another cylinder, then clear the codes. Start the vehicle and see if the fault code moves to the cylinder you put the former #8 coil onto. If so, replace that coil unit. It would be advisable to replace the coil unit with a genuine Toyota part, because the parts store coils are not of the same quality as the genuine Toyota replacement parts.
