Good evening, I assume you have the four cylinder in this? Dont get frustrated with me im gone ask a couple of questions, your sure you are working on the cylinder that is skipping? Beleive me even in shops it happens every day. And i see you replaced the coil pack, and fuel injector. Do you have a compression gauge? we need to check the compression of that cylinder And also we need to check the injector pulse for that injector. A noid light can be bought real cheap, lets verify injector pulse and lets verify spark, way id like you to do it is pull the plug put your compression tester in where plug was and put plug in coil pack and lay against ground have someone crank the engine and start it watch the plug is it sparking? and look at your compression gauge see what the running compression is if those check out injector pulse put your noid light in

Expert:  Reggie Whiddon replied 7 months ago.

denso makes a good plug for your engine as well, another thing good to do is an induction service

Expert:  Reggie Whiddon replied 7 months ago.

You can have that done professionally or do it yourself

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
When I unplug the second coil pack connector nothing happens. When I unplug the others the engine almost dies

Expert:  Reggie Whiddon replied 7 months ago.

Okay so we are back to square one. And you already have put new coils on. Auto zone will rent you a compression tester and a noid light. will you go get those and perform some test for me

Expert:  Reggie Whiddon replied 7 months ago.

No you have no distributor at all

Expert:  Reggie Whiddon replied 7 months ago.

you have four coils one for each cylinder that provide the spark

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
The guy at auto zone told me check the plugs and distributor cap
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I replaced two spark plugs on the 1 and 2 cylinder
Expert:  Reggie Whiddon replied 7 months ago.

you do have a 03 model right and dont you have to take a 10mm bolt out and pull the coil out to access the plug

Customer: replied 7 months ago.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
If this helps
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
it 10 mm
Expert:  Reggie Whiddon replied 7 months ago.

I thought so, lord ive worked on a million of them. Okay well you have eliminated the coil and the plug, so now lets look at the injector pulse and the compression. Will you get those tools and perform those test

Expert:  Reggie Whiddon replied 7 months ago.

Being the compression tester and noid light? And is 302 the only code you are setting

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I won't be able to today
Expert:  Reggie Whiddon replied 7 months ago.

Its getting late here past my bedtime, before i go i want to make sure your okay with our plan to get the noid light its just a bulb that will plug in the connector that hooks up to your injector just unplug the injector plug in the noid light and start the car you want to see that light blinking that tells us the computer is sending a pulse to operate the injector, and the compression tester is just a gauge hooked up to a hose that will screw in where your spark plug screws out screw it in and start the engine and observe the gauge you want to see at least 125 or so. I propose one of those test will reveal our skip

Expert:  Reggie Whiddon replied 7 months ago.

so when do i need to plan on sitting in with you again so i want miss you or delay you

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
