I HAVE A SCION XB WITH AROUND 100 K MILES IT RUNS GREAT THEN SOMETIMES AT A LIGHT OR SOMETHING IT WILL SHUT OFF TURN KEY CRANKS BACK UP MIGHT DRIVE A WEEK BEFORE IT DOES IT AGAIN I HAVE CHANGED MAF AND FUEL PUMP STILL DOING IT WHAT YOU THINK

Try cleaning the inside of the throttle body using a brush and a can of intake cleaner, excessive carbon deposits can cause occasional stalling, if the check engine light is on it may be another problem but if not give that a try.

The computer controls all idle functions based on various sensor inputs, with the problem this intermittent and no diagnostic information I'm not going to be of much help, I'll opt out and see if someone else has had this happen and mat have a solution
