Hi I'm Victor. My ac is blowing hot air, and I can't hear the compressor engage
JA: Do the vents feel cold? Is there a coolant leak?
Customer: No the vents blow hot air. There's no leaks.

Hi Victor,

The A/C in your Toyota has both an electrical as well as a mechanical component - one doesn't work without the other. The compressor not engaging can be caused by a fault in either or both components. The first step would be to connect a set of gauges so we can determine which component to look at next.
