We have a 07 Camry with a v6. We get a misfire on one

Customer Question

We have a 07 Camry with a v6. We get a misfire on one cylinder in spite of changing the coil several times
JA: How many miles are on the car? Is it a steady misfire? Or random?
Customer: random about 130000
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Changed the coil and plug. Tried several coils actually
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: nope. Just wondering if this is common and what the usual fix is
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Toyota Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.

Thank you for allowing me to help you with this concern today and am sorry to hear that this is happening. I will have to ask you a few questions so that I can get a better understanding as to what may be going on with your Camry.

Just so we cover our bases, are you an Owner (DIY) or a Repair shop working on this?

Did you use Aftermarket parts or OEM Toyota ones?

Im actually not sure about if they were OEM. I suppose that could make a difference. Im a private owner. In fact its my son's car. I'll try ordering a OEM coil. Anything else I should check?

Anything else I should check?

Make sure that the correct OEM coil is used as well as the plugs (these should be Denso brand).

Also, what was the code you pulled from the computer?
