Hello, thanks for posting

The engine cranks normally but tries to fire up, is tis correct? Does it backfire, sputter, pop, anything like it's trying to start?

Have you re checked the filter, is it a Toyota filter or aftermarket? Make sure the fittings are tight and it's not in backwards.

No it does not sputter and it is not a Toyota fuel filter. But after two or three try's turning over the engine it starts to die... I'm sorry I can't describe this too well, I'm a girl and I have no idea what everything is called
