The VSC and engine light will come on for just about any fault stored in the vehicle's computer system. Have you had a chance to get the vehicle scanned for stored fault codes?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
No,

I hate to say, but there isn't much we can do without getting it scanned for codes.

The VSC light will illuminate for anything from a misfire, a bad sensor (there are about 30 that it could be), a transmission problem, or even something as simple as a loose/defective gas cap.
