HI there,

Do you hear any sounds when you try to start it?

A single click or rapid clicking?

Expert:  carguy1 replied 6 months ago.

Which please?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
clicking sounds and the alarm horn is going off
Expert:  carguy1 replied 6 months ago.

Do you have the key fob to turn the alarm off?

Ok, well it seems like the first thing we have to do here is try to get the alarm to stop going off.

Close the hood with the battery connected and the alarm going off. Then lock and close the doors, then unlock the door with the key. Hold the key in the unlock position on the door for about 10 seconds and see if the alarm then is off when you open the door. This should reset the alarm so you can make an attempt at starting the truck

let me know.

r u still there the Alarm goes off by itself. I tried to do what you said but when I open the door the alarm goes off again
Expert:  carguy1 replied 6 months ago.

this should disable the alarm, try it on the passenger side of the truck. All the doors have to be locked when you do this.

I tried it but it did not work. someone else advised me that there was a red button the dash push it twice and turn the key on and then off and it should start which it did
Expert:  carguy1 replied 6 months ago.

That sounds like maybe an aftermarket system. Did the vehicle start once you disabled the alarm?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
After I followed the instructions involving the red button. It started
