A/C on '09 Corolla suddenly stopped working. Compressor

Customer Question

A/C on '09 Corolla suddenly stopped working. Compressor doesn't engage. 10 amp fuse is fine.
JA: How many miles are on the car? Do you happen to have the wiring diagram?
Customer: 78,000. No wiring diagram. Owner's manual says there is a 50 amp fuse or relay under the hood but can't figure out how to remove/test
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself?
Customer: Yes
JA: Great! What have you tried so far?
Customer: Replaced the 10 amp fuse under the hood. Checked owner's manual for other fuse/relay...the 50 amp as mentioned
JA: Is there anything else the Toyota Mechanic should be aware of about your Toyota?
Customer: The A/c stopped funny noises, no loss of cooling, just stopped.
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Toyota Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.
