Toyota Highlander: I have a 2002 Highlander and we had to replace

I have a 2002 Highlander and we had to replace the drivers side air bag now the front seat belts are locked up and are not usable how do "I get this to work? Is it a fuse or something else

Hello and thanks for posting, unfortunately once the seatbelts are locked at the same time airbags are deployed to restrain forward movement of the occupants, they have to be replaced, these are the pretensioner type belts. There is a small explosive charge in each seatbelt assembly kind of like a small airbag, when deployed it locks the belt in place and is a one time use only like the airbags.
