I changed my steering rack on a 2006 toyota avalon and now the steering wheel controls do not work

HelloThanks for posting If the steering wheel was turned while the steering rack was disconnected it's most likely that the spiral cable assembly broke, the steering wheel must be centered with the wheels straight ahead and then secured to keep it from being turned. The solution is to remove the steering wheel and replace the sprial cable, this will require disconnecting the steering wheel airbag, the battery must be disconnected and 90 seconds time must elapse before working on any part of the airbag system.
