your vehicle able to start prior to the battery replacement? also does The vehicle have an alarm?

Most likely the anti theft system was triggered when you replaced the car battery, Try to manually lock and unlock the car on the passenger side of the vehicle with the key, if this fails to reset it , vehicle anti theft will have to programmed at the nearest Toyota dealership.
