2002 Camry v6 just replaced egr valve and still have surging

Customer Question

2002 Camry v6 just replaced egr valve and still have surging at 40mph and around 70. Also if idle gets low enough the car dies but will turn right back on. Doesn't matter if car is warm or Cold still has same issue

Code for egr valve

The biggest problem is the low idle and dying

ok, thanks

first, I would completely clean the throttle body of all carob. that will effect the idle system. the idle air control motor is a control for the idle. the commands come from the pcm. I would remove the motor and clean all passages of carbon as well. there is also a base dile setting with the idle air control in the sealed position that needs to be checked.

do you have a scan tool?? not a code reader but a real scan tool???
