Thank you for allowing me to help you with this concern today and am sorry to hear that this is happening. I will have to ask you a few questions so that I can get a better understanding as to what may be going on with your Prius.

What codes are you getting?

Is the engine itself overheating?

Customer: replied 11 months ago.

Ok, the problem is not the inverter coolant pump but rather the Switching valve. Here is a post on replacing this valve...

Ok, wow, that was a quick response for you to say that. I am here to help you. The problem is that you replaced the wrong part.

Expert:  Genchi Genbutsu replied 11 months ago.

The coolant pump is not the problem but the switching valve is. The code P1121 diagnostic can be found here.

Does this help make sense of the problem you're dealing with?

Ok, you're giving conflicting information about this repair and I will now opt out so another Expert can attempt to work with you. Please do not respond back or the question will lock back to me. Another Expert will be along in a short while.

Thanks
