I have a2008 Toyota Camry battery died had to jump car there is a wire near the brake hang car will idle can put in drive or reverse it will move with idle but when I push the gas peddle nothing happens

Please go to the car and raise the hood. Locate the fuse panel in the engine compartment, and looking at the fuse panel lid, locate and remove the fuse labeled ETCS. See if it is blown.

The unit in the pictures is not a Toyota part. Toyotas do not use that type of fuse. This may be some kind of alarm system. I cannot tell you what it is as I have never seen thsi before. If the car is not accelerating, the electronic throttle motor is not moving in conjunction with gas pedal application. The throttle motor is powered by the ETCS fuse. If you have a test light, see if you have power in that fuse.
