Customer Question

Hello Ron, I am replacing the ECM located under the hood with a used working one of the exact same model# (89661-02M92). This 2009 corolla with a 1.8 platform does not have the smart key but has the transponder keys. If I plug this module in will the vehicle
start and run without flashing the module? Thank you, Brett

Unfortunately, NO. This ECM is NOT "plug and play". It will need to be initialized, reset and the VIN registered to the new ECM. This will require the use of a scan-tool that can interact and program an ECM.
