Customer Question

Hello, I need to know the name of the part that hold the camshafts on the 5.7 engine of 2013 TUNDRA. Is that cylinder head sub assembly? I'm trying to figure labor to reseal that. Thanks

Hello I will help you with your question,

Yes that is the housing and I see 7.5 hours to remove the cams and reseal the housing for both banks.

Please let me know if you have further questions

Thank you

Hello George,
Does that include removal of the timing chain cover, or front engine cover? 7.5 only?
Expert:  George H. replied 1 year ago.

Yes it does if you are doing the whole job it is 13.0 for both sides.

The chains alone are 9.3 which is removing the front cover and if you go that route then it is 13.0

Let me know if you need the procedure

Thank you
