Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

A lack of fuel pressure really shouldn't be related to changing spark plugs.

It's possible for starting fluid to compression ignite. Have you confirmed spark is actually present?

Do you hear the fuel pump running when the key is first turned on, or have you tested pressure with a gauge?

Have fuses been checked?
