I have a highlander 2002. I did not use the car for about 3 weeks. the battery went bad and need to be replaced. I place a new battery and the alarm system is going on and can not stop using the remote. the car will not start either. How I can reset the systems so I can re-start the car and use the remotes?

Close all doors and the hood, insert key in to door and lock the door, then unlock and attempt to start.
