hi did you look for the plug at the driver front left foot kick panel you have to remove the panel the plug can be tuck on the back of the wires so you will have to look on the back side of the harness
the plug is going to be wrap in the harness you will have to cut the black tape
r u there
yes it is there
the plug is wrap into the harness you have to cut the black tape to get it out
so remove the cover and look for a bulge in the harness that will be the plug
let me know if you find it
it should be connected to a trick blue wire
and yes it is a 4 plug connector
what base model is it
the wire will look like it run into the harness the plug will not stick in will be wrap up in the harness there should be a bulge section of the harness if you cut the tape off the bulge the plug should be right there
ok i am going to have to open your questions back up i do not know of the truck coming without the plug in the location maybe there is someone that can better help .
Take a look at the video on this page, it will have a good image of the connector you are looking for, the blue wire, and it's location relevent to the rest of the wiring harness
Have you tried removing that kick panel and checking farther down the wiring harness? It isn't always consistent, because most of the time nobody goes looking for it, so they don't feel obligated to make it easy.
They should all have it- manufacturers would prefer to have to make only one wiring harness for all the vehicles, and only hook up what is needed.
