Clarification: "topped off" meant filling only to automatic

Customer Question

Clarification: "topped off" meant filling only to automatic nozzle shut off. Will try 0-ring solution tomorrow.
Not meant as a 'loaded' question, but following up to original submittal, would it not be prudent to drive about 400 miles next two days if warning lights remain on?

Understood and thank you for the quick reply. It is not the "mileage" that matters the most. It is the 2 drive cycles. There are things that activate and are verified as operational when the engine is cold. The fuel vapor pressure sensor is one of these items checked. So, technically, you could remove the gas cap, watch the light come on, refit the cap tight, and drive it a thousand miles and the system would never reset. It needs to see 2 cycles. Cold, operating temperature, shut off, get cold and then repeat. This is critical.
