Has any brake work been done and do you know what this code means?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
no brake work, we did an alignment on a Hunter machine, then went through the ESC reset proedure. Code C120A is a manufacurer defined code saying ECU initialization incomplete

This code set whenever the master cylinder solenoid is not informed that the vehicle is equipped with downhill assist control or crawl control and downhill assist control or crawl control operates. Somewhere or somehow this information got lost when you did the reinitialization after the alignment. The only way to reinitialize or recalibrate this is using a Toyota approved scan tool that access the vehicle skid control system to recalibrate or inform system that it has downhill assist control. If your scan tool will not do that feature you will need to have this sent to a Toyota or Lexus dealer to have that programmed.

Unfortunately that is the downside of technology. Please do not forget to rate the information that I provided you at three or higher so that I may be compensated.
