Have cover removed, wont turn to acc. cant get cylinder out.

Hello. Welcome to Just Answer. Please allow me to assist you. If the key will not turn to Accessory, you will not be able to get the cylinder out. It is 100% critical that the key turn to ACC to allow the release pin to disengage the cylinder unit. Your best bet here is to remove the entire ignition assembly and take it to a locksmith. They have the ability to drill in a certain point to extract the cylinder. If you need assistance on how to remove the ignition assembly, I will be happy to assist you on that.
