HI,I BROUGHT A 2012 COROLLA WITH 23000 MI .I NOW HAVE 31000 MI.IT DOSE NOT MATTER IF IT IS 30 DEGREES OR 90 DEGREES OUTSIDE.IT TAKES 5 MINS TO IDLE DOWN FROM 1200 RPM TO 900 RPM. ON THE FIRST MORNING START UP.I WILL NOT PUT IT INTO DRIVE UNTIL THE RPM IS LOWER.IS THIS NORMAL ! IF NOT, WHAT IS THE FIX. THANK YOU. TOM Z

Hi, my name is ***** ***** is not normal, but common, we see the coolant temp sensor go bad and will cause this, have you nhad the computer scanned and seen if the coolant tamp signal in the computer matches the actual temp?
