the digital radio display is not working on my 2003 corolla hatchback

matt50025002 :

hello, i would like to answer your question

matt50025002 :

Does the radio work at all, or is the display just not working?

Customer:

the radio works

matt50025002 :

Check to make sure that the 15 amp TAIL fuse, the 15 amp DOME fuse and the 15 amp CIG fuse are working properly.

Customer:

where are these fuses located

matt50025002 :

it should be fuse number 14 in your instrument panel fuse block. it is a 15 amp fuse. the instrument panel junction block is located on the drivers side up under the steering wheel by your feet. remove the cover and look for the 15 amp fuse that is in the middle collumn farthest to the right. you should be able to just pull it out.

Customer:

the cig lighter is working

matt50025002 :

If all the fuses are working properly, and the radio is working, most likely you will have to replace the digital radio display.

Customer:

how do I do that

matt50025002 :

Let me check for the cheapest solutions, i will get back to you in a little while.

matt50025002 :

I have one more question, is the clock working?

Customer:

the clock is not working

matt50025002 :

There is no easy fix for this problem. The cigarette lighter, the dome light, and the radio are on the same circuit. This means the clock is bad, and the display is bad. The best way to fix the issue is to go to the dealer and get it fixed by them, it will be expensive, but at least they will fix it correctly. Thanks
