2004 toyota sequoia limited V8 4WD. I need help with a replacement drivers side power mirror. the replacement wire harness connector male end is not the same as the female connector on the inside door. The car door connector has 7 wire(2black,1red,1green,1blue,1purple,1brown) and the replacement has 3wire (green, yellow, red).I can't find a wire harness that has these connectors. What I am trying to do is splice wires but I don't know what colors match the 3 colors with the 7 colors. to make the mirror work. Can you please help me? My wife will kill me if I can' fix it. I need to get the door liner put back on the door.

Thank you for choosing JustAnswer and allowing me to help you resolve your Toyota questions!
If the connector on your vehicle has seven pins you have the heated mirror option. The mirror that you purchased does not have the heated mirror option built into the wiring. Unfortunately Toyota does not give color coding for the connector wiring harness to the mirror. My recommendation would be to send in the near back and get the correct one. About the only thing I can do is give you the identification of the wires in the seven pin connector going inside the door to the switch. But I have no way of telling you where they go to on the mirror. Let me know if you send the mirror back?
I re-checked the information on the mirror to the replacement. I don't really understand that the connector from the car to the mirror is heated. It may be that way in case I would like to replace the mirrors with heated ones. I know that there has to be a type of wire connection. Before I blown the fuse,I did have some movement. When I pushed the botton in the car, the passenger side mirror rotated in. And the drivers side mirror class moved in the same manner as the passenger mirror. When I had tried combinding different wires, is when I had blown the fuse. Also when I checked with wire harness with any of the replacement mirrors, they all had the same end connectors from the mirror. I was told that it was possible to fix if I had the right wires connected from the 7 wire to the 3 wire.
