Hi,

Toyota Hilux Turbo Diesel fuel warning light comes on and stays on. I am about to drive 2000 km and need to know how much of a saga this is, or if It can wait til I complete the trip. The description says fuel system abnormal.

Hi have you tried draining the water out of the fuel filter and checed if it fixes it? Its very common problem on the diesels.

I will try that now, but I thought that was when the fuel light was flashing, in this case the fuel light stays on, and in the service book, it says there is an abnormality.

Ill try and drain it and come back to you...
