Toyota corolla: 2000 toyota corolla,cyl 1 missfire,changed

2000 toyota corolla,cyl 1 missfire,changed ing coil..after 2 days problem reacure..then i change that ing coil to another cyl,now both ign coil r bad..is it possible i could have a eletrical problem that would short out my ing coil in cyl 1..if so where

In order to better assist you I need to know a few things.

 

Did you perform a compression test?

 

When you swapped coil 1 with coil 2 are you getting misfire in cylinder 1 and 2? How did you determine that both coils are bad?
