Srs Blink code 3-2 on 2005 Corolla, light rear damage
Hello, how extensive is the rear damage, is the wheel bent?
Did the wheel make contact with a solid object?
Center hit direct on rear bumper, we are replacing the cover only.
Ok, let me check on something be right back.
The code you are getting is #32 which is a malfunction/open circuit of the left front wheel speed sensor, have you checked to see if the sensor wire is connected? Was anything done to the left front wheel or brake system recently?
Airbag / srs blink code #32...........
how is the abs sensor related ?
No brake or abs light is on.
Ok. my mistake, I thought it was for the abs system, this sounds like it's an impact sensor but let me check my files and I will return shortly.
This SRS code is for the air bag occupant classification system, this senses if there is a person in the right front seat, there are a coule of things to check.Make sure there is nothing located under the seat, check the srs wire connector to the small black box to make sure it is connected. Has the seat been removed and put back in?
no seat removal
Have you checked the wire connectors under the seat, if the code does not clear there is usually an open circuit or the classification computer (the small box) is the problem.
OK when there is a passenger, the passenger airbag is "off" and it does not tell you to put your belt on.
Now what ?
seat cushion?
That's because the system does not detect any weight in the seat due to the possible problems I already mentioned, there is a recalibration procedure that can be done if the connectors and wires are ok, this involves the dealer to use their diagnostic tool to do a recalibration of the seat sensitivity, there is really not much you can do yourself at this time.
OK,dealer repair. TY
Yes that's what I would recommend I have done many of these recalibrations and in most cases that's all that was necessary.
Please leave positive feedback, thank you.
