Toyota Prius: My Prius wont turn on. The Lights on the dash

My Prius wont turn on. The Lights on the dash came on and then everything went dead like the battery has died. could it be a dead battery ? I also notice a smell of rotten eggs in the car.

Hello, it does sound like the auxiliary battery is discharged, this battery is located in the trunk on the right side under the spare tire covers, try jump starting with another car or if the battery is older than five years just replace it, these batteries are not like regular car batteries and require an AGM type battery, they are available at the Toyota dealer, the batteries have been updated with larger capacity batteries, there are some aftermarket suppliers that also have this battery.The smell may be the battery venting fumes into the trunk.
