This is a pretty laid back repair not to much to do follow the steps above. Pretty much if you have airbags disable you can do this either by removing the power from the battery for 5 mins or removing the fuse. The next thing you will use a small object to insert into the small hole which will release the cylinder I have has the best luck turning it while doing this then it will come out. Let me know if you have any questions if this was helpful please take a moment to kindly press the green ACCEPT button in the lower right hand corner. Thanks in advance Danny

Customer:

Do i need to remove steering wheel and combination switch?

snapontech :

No

snapontech :

Not for the cylinder

Customer:

So do i have to remove part of dash, lock cylinder sits on dash?

snapontech :

You should not there should be a release pin for this once you press the pin it should allow you to remove the cylinder

snapontech :

Ok I got a image

So you will have to get down to that release then it will come out very easily

snapontech :

Since yours is installed in the dash look for the release you may need to remove the lower panel to access the button in order to release

Customer:

Okay, I got you.
