Pavlin Koev :

using test light check its connectors in junction box

Pavlin Koev :

you should have power in 2 places with ign to on position

Customer:

Customer:

i also tried to jumper to motor and the fan is working

Customer:

toyota have big fuses

Pavlin Koev :

ok, so looks like engine computer is not grounding the relay

Customer:

how do i check that?

Customer:

is it the diagnostic ?

Pavlin Koev :

you have to check for codes first

Pavlin Koev :

is any there

Customer:

no i did not and i don"t know where is the codes

Pavlin Koev :

you have to scan the vehicle, is engine light ON?

Customer:

i don't have the scanner

Customer:

engine light not on

Pavlin Koev :

you should start with replacing cooling temperature switch,

Customer:

i checked that and it's ok

Pavlin Koev :

does fan works with A/C -ON ?

Customer:

nope

Customer:

doesn't work at all

Pavlin Koev :

check resisyance of supply wire from relay to cooling fan connector

Customer:

it's ok

Customer:

it's work all way to the fuse box and plug

Pavlin Koev :

do you have 12V to fan plug at blue wire?

Customer:

what do you mean?

Pavlin Koev :

when relay is energized it must supply 12V through that wire

Customer:

jumper wire?

Customer:

to the fan is working ok

Pavlin Koev :

if you jump the relay terminals insted of jumper wire, this will check wire integrity

Customer:

i did not check to c if it supplies a 12 v

Customer:

i think it could be the fuse

Pavlin Koev :

Customer:

but they have a big fuse

Pavlin Koev :

yes it is big one

Customer:

can insert paper clip in to diagnostic to get the codes

Pavlin Koev :

this is on old cars

Pavlin Koev :

with in to ON do you have 2 power at relay?

Customer:

the wire chassis electrical is ok

Customer:

the motors for the also ok

check if you have, then check if it is at blue wire in fan connector
